Call me MJ! I’m a retired FBI Special Agent and a good human. I’ve been saying YES to everything since 2019, which has led to the most extraordinary experiences, and to connecting with people who have profoundly enriched my life.
What's your favorite client story?
After years of frustration and multiple rejected offers, my friend asked me to be her realtor. Of course, I was happy to help, even though I knew how much pressure it can be to support a friend-turned-client. Shortly after we began working together, a house in her neighborhood hit the market. She loved the location, as she passed it every day while walking her dogs. We scheduled a showing for Memorial Day—crazy for a shore town, but it worked for us. The house was being sold as-is, and definitely needed some love, but we both saw its potential and she fell in love.
I learned there were already multiple offers, which worried her, but we crafted a strong offer and submitted it. A couple of days later, the listing agent called to say our offer was accepted. Telling my friend the good news was one of the best moments I’ve experienced. She was thrilled, and I was so happy to make her dream a reality!
You have a day off in Asbury Park. What do you do?
You can usually find me in Bradley Beach, walking my dog Addie, and chatting with neighbors, or hanging with friends at Darcy's Tavern. On weekends, I like to walk or bike into Asbury Park, grab an espresso at Café Volan, and hit the farmer's market. Evenings are usually spent catching up with friends, dining out at any one of our favorite local spots.
What's the architectural detail your eye always gravitates towards?
Hardwood floors, molding, fireplaces, and old homes thoughtfully updated to keep their original character. I love the juxtaposition of old and new.
Favorite community organization.
I volunteer at Bradley Beach Food Pantry whenever I get the chance. It’s a wonderful organization that provides food to anyone in need. Selfishly, it makes me feel good to give back to the community.
What differentiates you within real estate?
Through my career as an FBI agent and my life experiences, I've learned every person's story is entirely their own. This perspective influences how I approach real estate; it's about more than just transactions - it's about building genuine connections, understanding unique needs, and meeting clients where they are, without judgement.
