You have a day off in Philly. What do you do?
I’d set out for an adventure. But first, coffee and a morning walk with my pup. Of course depending on the weather, my outdoor option would be a hike around Wissahickon, a leisurely stroll around Rittenhouse, or exploring the gardens of Rodin. Indoor, my husband and I could easily spend a day at any of the art museums following a dinner out at one of our favorite spots hopefully including a charcuterie board.
What's the architectural detail your eye always gravitates towards?
In general any well thought out architectural details stand out to me, something where you can feel the meaning behind it! These Designs can be unique as they are carefully thought out and give sense of place; they have a soul.
Outdoors- definitely a colored door or anything uniquely creative will catch my attention and of course along side of great curb appeal, that’s a given!
Indoors- who wouldn’t fall for cathedral ceilings and elegant trim along with Great craftsmanship incorporating good use of space and lighting! Depending on the style of the home I love a beautiful barn door!
Considering the Kitchens my favorite place to hang out, I have my coffee in the morning, will set my laptop up and work through the afternoon, and in the evening prepare dinner. I guess it’s where I spend most my day so therefore I love a great back splash and love to see how each kitchen is designed and how the hardware, cabinets, countertops are incorporated.

I’m 100 percent dedicated to each individual clients needs! I will go above and beyond to help find their prefect home, as mentioned above I’m a problem solver and solutions oriented!
Bio
Maria has lived in the greater Philadelphia area for the last 14 years. She graduated from the University of the Arts in center city Philadelphia where she received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in performing arts. For two years, she was part of the Philadelphia Eagles organization, employed as a cheerleader. Post graduation she trained extensively to become an aerialist/acrobat which has taken her on a journey to travel to 85+ countries and perform nationally and internationally at multiple prestigious venues for many clients as a Specialty Aerial Cirque Artist. Along this journey while pursuing her career as a traveling acrobat her heart has always belonged in Philadelphia where she first invested in real estate.
At age 24 she invested in her first property and age 30 invested in a second property, this time as both the buyer and seller. Through this process, the professionalism and personal touch demonstrated by her real estate agent and mentor, Sandy Kauffman, inspired Maria to pursue a career in real estate. Today, Maria applies the knowledge, skills, and abilities she developed in the performing arts – her initiative and resourcefulness, her marketing and networking savvy, and the value she places on communication – to her new business venture in real estate. Maria is now part of Sandy’s team!
