Summarize yourself in a tweet.

I purchased my first home 15 years ago and was hooked! I love real estate, whether it's a home that builds wealth or an investment that generates income. I truly love working with my clients and strive to make it a positive and memorable experience for all parties involved.

What's your favorite client story?

I once had a client choose to work with me because he said I went above and beyond. He had a very specific search. His son was hearing impaired, so he needed to be in a specific school district and he needed a mother-in-law suite. There were very few homes that met his criteria. When I presented the house that best fit his criteria, he mentioned that he had seen it, but felt it didn't meet his needs. But I didn't stop there. I immediately went to see the property. I called him from inside the home and explained how the home met his criteria and asked him to consider meeting me to tour the property. Later, I found out he had only looked in through the windows before discarding it as an option. He said he appreciated my perseverance and signed a buyer exclusive.

You have a day off in Philly. What do you do?

Long walk with the dogs (Frenchie and Monkey) before heading to the dog park. Early dinner and drinks at my favorite happy hour rendezvous. Weather permitting, a walk through one of Philly's many great neighborhoods and enjoying some downtime on a park bench.

What's the architectural detail your eye always gravitates towards?

I gravitate towards both new modern and classic Victorian.

Favorite community organization.

Morris Animal Refuge - I have a special place in my heart for pets in need and this is the first animal shelter in the U.S., founded in 1874.

What differentiates you within real estate?

I left my career of almost 30 years to do what I am most passionate about. I could have kept my salaried position but I left to fulfill a passion of helping others build wealth through real estate. I strive to take the fear out of making a real estate purchase by explaining the process up front.

One last thing...

A native Michigander, I have lived in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Phoenix, Bisbee, and Albuquerque, before relocating to Philadelphia. I visited the city once and fell in love with the architecture, history and ambiance of the city.

What to expect.
