What's your favorite client story?
I worked with a young woman working for a city rehab program. She was looking to purchase a property in Camden. We found a nice row home in good condition and made an offer. To our disappointment, the property would not appraise. While researching the market, I came across a city sponsored new construction project in Newbold, with outdoor space and blocks from where my client worked and her church. While this home was significantly more expensive, through creative FHA financing and a seller assist, she was able to purchase it with closing costs and mortgage payments that worked within her budget. What's more, she ended up with a great investment in a fantastic location.
You have a day off in Philly. What do you do?
Shop one of our great farmers markets and prepare a dinner for our new and old friends...with martinis of course.
What's the architectural detail your eye always gravitates towards?
The victorian twins of West Philadelphia and the beautiful early american stone homes of Germantown. What treasures we have in our city.
Favorite community organization.
Bella Vista Neighbors Assoc. Being a member of the Board of Directors, I get to meet my neighbors and contribute to the community.
