Anita Marks grew up in Miami, FL then headed to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida and graduated with a BA in Communications. Her love for sports helped her land a job as a sports producer for CBS in Miami.
 
The opportunity to play women’s professional football came about in 1999, when a barn storming tour was created in Minnesota. Anita opted to wait until the league brought a team to Miami. Her ambition: to pave the way for women in professional football. Using her athletic ability and marketability to bring more notoriety to the Women’s Professional Football League.Anita quarterbacked for The Miami Fury, women’s professional football team, for 4 years and The Florida Stingrays for 1 year. Anita developed a reputation for being one of the best QB’s to ever play women’s pro football.
 
Anita has been hosting sports talk radio for the past 14 years…she began in Miami, FL, made her way to Baltimore, MD in 2006, where her afternoon drive show in Baltimore was simulcast for 4 years on the Mid Atlantic Sports Network. She is now in New York, working with The NY Giants, NBC Sports Radio and teaches a Sports Business class at NYU. She also was a sideline reporter for the United Football League and hosts several Fantasy Football Shows.
 
Her passion for sport has kept her in the game … but this time, the real estate game helping professional athletes relocate.
