Summarize yourself in a tweet.

Contractor, designer, Realtor, historic home reviver, opera singer, dog lover. Host of "Philly Revival" on the DIY Network.

What's your favorite client story?

One of my clients went into labor while in the final stages of buying a home and our title contact and I met them in the hospital to get the final documents signed :)

You have a day off in Philly. What do you do?

A perfect day off involves a strong cup of coffee from Rival Brothers, a run along the Schuylkill River Trail with my dog (Johnny!), brunch at Suraya (the hummous and man'oushe... yum!), a trip to one of Philly's many museums or festivals, dinner with friends over homemade pasta at Le Virtu, and salsa dancing at night at Brasil's.

What's the architectural detail your eye always gravitates towards?

Anything original to the home that gives us a glimpse into its history––stained or leaded glass windows, pocket doors, ornate trim, marble mantels, antique tile <3

Favorite community organization.

There are so many fantastic community organizations in Philadelphia. Most recently I have been involved with Rebuilding Together Philadelphia, which provides free safe and healthy home repairs to low-income community members throughout the city.

What differentiates you within real estate?

My goal in real estate and for my team, The Street Group, is to provide a superior type of guidance that stems from an in-depth understanding of property valuation, finance, design, and construction. As someone who has worked in almost every facet of the real estate world, I recognize the importance that experience plays in helping my clients navigate complex real estate transactions, avoid pitfalls, and make solid investments. Whether it is a first-time homebuyer or a seasoned investor, we perform extensive financial and valuation analysis of the properties that we help our clients buy and sell, offer staging and design suggestions for our listings and rehabbers, and make our network of inspectors, lenders, title agencies, designers, and contractors available to our clients to help ensure their success.

Some of my experience includes working as a Loan Servicing Manager (managing a loan portfolio of up to 23 loans with an aggregate principal balance of over $100 million), Mortgage Analyst and Commercial Loan Originator (helping to underwrite and close over $300 million of commercial loans), and as a Commercial Property Manager. I have also completed extensive studies toward becoming a General Appraiser through The Appraisal Institute. An active investor and licensed General Contractor, I buy and renovate properties under my construction company, Hestia Construction, LLC. With these projects, my focus is on finding architecturally interesting properties that are run-down or abandoned, and creating exciting modern designs that also honor the history and original features of the home. My projects have been featured in many local and national publications, including Philadelphia Magazine, Forbes.com, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and Curbed Philly, among others, and are the subject of the DIY Network TV show "Philly Revival", of which I am the host.

One last thing...

Before working in real estate I was an opera singer. I am trilingual (English/Italian/Spanish) and have lived abroad in both Mexico and Italy. Under my construction company, I started a program to provide free renovations for homeowners in need, which I am looking to expand over the next year. I am on the board of the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District and am passionate about getting more women and girls involved in real estate and the trades.

What to expect.
