I was born and raised in Philadelphia. Grew up in northeast Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University, where I majored in accounting. Within a few years of graduation I started my own CPA firm and moved into Center City Philadelphia. That’s when my passion for the city and for real estate blossomed. From the mid 1970s to the mid 1980s, I purchased several multifamily buildings, as well as my personal residence.
Although I moved to the suburbs in the mid 80s, mainly for my children to attend the suburban schools, I always yearned for the city.
By the mid 90s I was a CFO for a construction management/design build firm. That’s when I learned about the other parts of the real estate industry.
In 2007, I moved back to the city in order to satisfy my love for the city, it’s architecture, and it’s heart and soul. I’m now continuing to explore my interest in all things related to real estate. Everyday is a new challenge, and I love it.
