Summarize yourself in a tweet.

With my BS in Design from Drexel University combined with my experience as an antiques dealer for over 40 years followed by time in home staging and remodeling, I have come to truly value research and communication, being decisive and offering all the options.

Space & Company is unique in the fact that we are a thoughtful, close knit company that strives to create a new model for buying and selling RE. After selling shore RE for over 16 years, I feel I finally have my “dream job”. Dedication *and* relationships are my goals.

What's your favorite client story?

My favorite “client story” in one where I was the client. While being a RE Agent in Atlantic County selling shore propertied for over 16 years, I was new to Asbury Park. While seeing an AP condominium in February, I was bowled over by the Sellers Agent. She met me right after I made the call for an appointment, personally represented her listing, and her Marketing materials were amazing. While I purchased in a different building, after I moved in and was ready to make my mark in Asbury, I immediately called Kimberly Newsome...from client to agent!

You have a day off in Asbury. What do you do?

Breakfast at Toast or Talula’s, a bike ride to Deal, a stop in Allenhurst fora “Cravings” coffee cake. Back to Asbury for the great beach, dinner at Robinson’s Ale house (the best burgers).

What's the architectural detail your eye always gravitates towards?

For single family homes I always look at the roof line and the elevations. I think such a dramatic feature is something that adds interest even before entering a home.

Favorite community organization.

My favorite community organization would be mentoring for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. When one can share warmth with and encourage younger people benefits one child at a time. I hope to inspire them to follow their dreams and figure out how to get there. It is very fulfilling. From my army college days in Schenectady, NY-I have always loved this worthy organization.

What differentiates you within real estate?

I work in RE to help people and build relationships. It’s not only about transactions to me.

One last thing...

BS in Design, Drexel University, Assistant to the Fashion Editor of the Philadelphia Bulletin, Antiques Dealer for our 40 years in Haddonfield NJ and NYC specializing in 20th Century Design and Mid Century Design. Strong background in home staging, party/event planning a give me insight as a RE Agent.

What to expect.
