The View From South Philly’s Bok Bar PopUp Is Breathtaking

Do you remember the amazing Le Bok Fin rooftop pop-up bar last year? Well, now it’s back and renamed as Bok Bar. Located on top of the former Edward W. Bok School in South Philadelphia, the pop-up has 12 types of beer, 9 types of wine and a food menu, which includes Vietnamese and Filipino dishes like banh mi sandwiches, sesame balls, and chocolate suman. By the way, all of their bar bites are under $10!
Bok Bar is open Tuesday through Friday starting at 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 12pm. Sundays are family days when kids can be accompanied by their parents/guardians; for all other times, you must be 21 to get in. Operations leader and hospitality veteran Stephen Yaeger plans to remain open until it gets too cold outside, so make sure to stop by the corner of 8th and Mifflin Street while the nice weather lasts.
