Every once in a while you see a few homes that would make people jealous if they saw you lived there and they didn’t. This a short list of a few of those homes. Try not to make any impulse buys.

1) 321 E. Allen Street, Unit 1

The last available unit in a prime location in Fishtown, it’s just 4 blocks from Frankford and Girard and close to Delaware Avenue and Penn Treaty Park. It won’t be long before homes in the low 300s in Fishtown are just a memory.

2) 2366 E Norris Street

If floating floors are your jam, this home will catch your eye. The exposed brick and wide-plank hardwood floors are also quite stunning.

3) 827 E Girard Avenue

While the woodworking and character of this home isn’t quite as show-stopping as 1235 E. Columbia (see below), it’s still in fantastic shape for a home built a hundred years ago and listed at a much lower price. And of course, the location on E. Girard is incredibly desirable.

4) 161 E Allen St Unit, Unit 5

There are some features which stand out immediately in this new construction home. The medium-gray hardwood floors and poured concrete countertops in some of the units are uncommon features which add character to normally cookie-cutter new construction homes. Garage parking is also included.

5) 1234 E Columbia Avenue

Perfect location and a gorgeous and stately interior make this the nicest Fishtown home on the market for 400k. There are numerous details like the intricately tiled wall and beautiful molding which complement the hardwood floors and railings which you will never find in a new construction home. Let’s be honest, the kitchen needs some work, but that’s why the price is negotiable.
