Night Market is Coming

If you don’t know by now, for the past 5 years Night Market has become the penultimate Summertime soiree for Philadelphians to celebrate everything that is great and glorious about a specific neighborhood along side their most favorite food trucks from across the city. The next neighborhood host is Fishtown on the Thursday, October 1st, from 5pm-10pm (which btw is also the same night the the newest music venue The Filmore opens its door to the great Hall & Oats!).
Designed to highlight the amenities of a neighborhood, Night Market brings Philadelphians together for an evening of live music, arts, and of course the best food that can be found on four wheels. Whether your dinner preference is Mama’s Meatballs, Nomad Pizza, or one of the hundreds of other choices that will be dished out on October 1st, you are bound to find many new flavors to excite your palate.
The fact that Night Market has chosen to take place at the Fishtown intersection of Frankford and Girard tells the City of Neighborhoods, that Fishtown has arrived! As a burgeoning hub of arts, culture and food, attractions like the many new galleries along the Frankford Avenue Arts Corridor and the new live music venue Filmore Philadelphia, there are always things to do and places to play while living and working in the neighborhood.
